Making sculptures in the snow!

On Wednesday 6th January 2010 we had an exciting art lesson outside! We created a variety of sculptures from the snow. We hope you like our sculptures.

Every monday lunchtime, some 'experts' in Years 5 & 6 lead the art/craft club sessions!

Do Something Different! Children In Need

As part of the Children Need Activities on Friday, Mr Hughes' maths group did something different by using the Nintendo Wii and Mario and Sonic at the Olympics.

We have been working on data analysis and mean, mode, median and range in class recently. The game provided a unique way to gather some data to do our analysis. We played the game for about 20 min and everyone got to do the 100 meter sprint. We recorded this and then, used the data to find out the average speed of the class.

Here we are working below after our sprints. Our average time was 10.674 seconds.
